Karzen smiled, a warmth in his green gaze as he watched Meadow scramble back to her seat beside Alyce. He enjoyed the happy look the two seemed to share, admitting quietly to himself that some joy in the lives of the seniors was much needed. This year would be the toughest on them. Karzen let his mind briefly wander to his parents and how they would react when he graduated. Would he finally gain their pride and affection? Something inside of him seriously doubted it. A shadow feel upon him, making Karzen look up, alerted to the other presence. It was Stein. This kid was so very dear to the senior. He adored the mute boy, often finding comfort in his silent but persistent company. The look in his eyes confirmed that Stein wanted to know if he could sit beside him. "Of course, Stein," he answered, patting the chair beside him. Karzen had never labeled them as friends because he didn't want to push Stein out of his comfort zone and was too dull upstairs to consider that just maybe, that's what the mutated boy needed. Yes, the young red-head was quite the oblivious one.
Leaning forward in anticipation for her answer, his eyes sparkled with a childlike wonder. This was the first person to ever talk to him in a long while and he enjoyed this immensely. As she cut off abruptly, however, Achilles frowned a bit and slumped back in his seat, not entirely sure what was wrong. When her question was asked though, he chuckled and looked down at his coffee. It wasn't sweet enough that he'd get addicted and had enough of a kick to get him through the day. To him, the coffee was perfect. "I like it," he answered, resting his chin in one hand. So maybe he was a little odd, that was to be expected. Her answer made him grin, for history was one of his favorite subjects. Of course, he was at the top of his classes, though he seemed to have some competition from this Sidriel kid and, as he just realized, the girl sitting across from him. Grades however really didn't matter to him, so he wasn't going to say anything. "Oh, I had Latin," he exclaims. He distinctly remembered her in some of his classes and that helped him to relax. "I think we have economics together," he enthused, shoving his hands in his pockets.
Sid had turned his attention briefly back towards the window before peering down at his arm. There his watch let him know he had about 15 minutes left to get to class. Then he let out a chuckle, his eyes flickering up and brightening at his obvious discomfort. Yeah, okay, maybe Kas had more influence on him than was originally thought. "Don't worry there, buddy, wouldn't wanna touch it. Hers maybe," he nodded to a picture that hung to his backpack of Giselle, "but not yours." Aware that the girl had to be important to him, only made him more inclined to say things like this. Sid liked making others mad, almost as much as Kas liked making others uncomfortable. Then he shook his head, shrugging his shoulders. "It's harder to kill me than you might assume," he answered, a little cryptically. But still, he did not remove the scarf. The boy looked lost in his own head so when he spoke aloud, Sid really doubted he meant to. Even so, the kid laughed almost teasingly, his eyes darkening very slightly. "Geez, didn't think anyone outside my brothers had those odd kinks," he spoke, his voice had become slightly darker, had more of an edge. Suddenly, he was behind Wess, his breath on his neck, the scarf wrapped around Wess' hands. Yet, he never made physical contact with the other guy. "Don't worry, I have some too," he chuckled before showing off a smirk he most likely inherited from the flirtiest of his brothers, Zazri. In the next second however, Sid was gone from the hallway. He was racing across the park, trying to go fast enough that he wouldn't get noticed by his siblings. When he drew closer to the edge, he slowed and tried to blend in with the crowd. However, as he was just about to be on the path that led to the art building, he was stopped by a voice. "Sid?" it was his sister, Remi of course. Ducking his head down, he tried to hurry past, not in the mood to deal with any of them. Especially because he knew Kas would be less than pleased that he'd been avoiding them. He was a controlling motherfucker.
( there! I did it! )

Stein smiled -- well, he was always smiling, but his eyes lit up and made his smile look genuine and not forced -- before sitting in the chair indicated. It took him only a minute before getting comfortable, though he stayed sitting rigidly, as if he were ready to run at a moments notice. The boy turned his head to gaze at Karzen and fluttered his wings in inquiry. Though he was smiling and seemed his regular happy-go-lucky self, Stein couldn't help but feel a bit worried, as if Karzen was tired or something.
Bella couldn't help but smile and shake her head gently. He liked almost-black coffee? That was certainly weird. Though, not as weird as some stuff she'd heard about. She leaned forward as well, resting her arms on the table after pushing her hair behind her ear, "Do we?" She smiled and tilted her head again, blinking as she thought about it. Vaguely she recalled hearing his voice before, maybe it was in economics? Nonetheless, Achilles seemed like a sweet enough guy and she dropped her un-seeing gaze, "Would you want to sit next to me next time we have economics? I'm not really all that great with it."
Wess's face contorted into one of rage -- who did this guy think he was? Threatening his sister like that! As if Wess would let this feakingly adorable -- no! just freaky -- creep anywhere in sight of Giselle. Wess was about to speak exactly what was on his mind when he stopped, Sid speaking once again, saying it was difficult to kill him. The cat boy scoffed and crossed his arms, "I'm sure it's not that difficult." He grumbled adn tilted his head, his tail flicking back and forth slowly behind him. He huffed and watched the boy, looking at some of his features a bit too long. One who wasn't paying attention to the entire conversation might go as far as to say that the poor neko was checking out the little demon. Maybe even liking what he saw. He started to sputter again when Sidriel mentioned the work 'kink', "I do not--ahh~" The poor neko boy's back arched and his tail, on its own accord, wrapped around Sid's leg a little. That same person who might have thought that Wess was checking Sid out might have also thought that where there was rage and raw fury in Wess's gaze, it was actually lust. As if the boy enjoyed the feeling of the scarf tied around his wrists and his arms being tugged backward a little. They might have also said that the shiver that went down his spine as the demon whispered in his ear and chuckled was full of want, when in reality Wess knew it was a shiver of disgust. Suddenly the heat of the other body was no more and Wess could breathe again. With that breath he turned around, eyes narrowing and started to follow Sid. He hurried, angrily wrapping his scarf around his neck again, "Hey you! Mr. Nubby Horns!" Wess growled when he was close enough, "I'm not finished with you!"

"Heeey, Sidriel where're you goin?" Zazriel reached out and held onto the collar on the back of his younger brothers shirt, stopping him mid-scurry and tugging him back so he could hang with the rest of his family. The most flirtatious in the Thanatos clan gave his brother a smile, leaning on close and whispering for him to hear; "Didn't know you had a little boyfriend." He snickered, lips hugging his cheeks as he let out a laugh, letting go of his shirt. Just then Kastiel swept in, cornering Sidriel with a dark look in his eyes. He always had it for his little brother, and he didn't really know why. Maybe it was because he was rebellious when he was trying to conform him, or maybe it was just his loud mouth but he always gave him more shit then he did his other siblings. He gave a little growl, grabbing his wrist and pulling him closer. "Which is against the rules..." But before he could chastise him Wess burst into their little huddle. Kas turned his head to see the new comer, immediately a smile spreading to his face. He let go of Sid and slinked over to the little cat boy, a dark aura seeming to radiate off him. "Well well well, what have we here?" Kastiel paced around the boy, examining him, he was small, seemingly weak, but he had the ego of a lion by the looks of it. He experimentally grabbed both of his ears and began to pet them between his thumb and fore finger, he didn't have much experience with feline-humans, were their ears sensitive? "A pretty little kitten-kid." He gave a dark titter, peering over Wess' shoulder so he could catch a bit of his eyes.
At first Coraline didn't even notice that Xav had come in, she was seemingly in her own world when she was painting. She scanned her eyes over the canvas before flicking her paint brush out, a splat of yellow paint globbing over the painting. She slashed as if her brush was a sword, flicking it vertically, horizontally, diagonally - soon the paint on the tip of her brush ran out. She turned back to collect some more when she looked up and noticed the mysterious kid. She yelped, not expecting him to be sitting across from the table where her supplies were out, how long had he even been there? She regained herself quickly, giving him a hostile peer but saying nothing at first. A silence hung above the two for a while as they looked at each other, finally Coraline picked up her chunk of wood covered in paint and began to dab her brush in it. "Can I help you?" She muttered. She had seen this kid around in what few classes she had with him - or at least what few classes he actually ever attended. It was more common to see him when she was out to get a smoke though. The campus had a lot of rumors about this character too, like how he'd steal from the main office and sneak around in the Professor's desks. Needless to say, she didn't ever think she'd encounter him, though she was curious.

Sid tried to get Zazri off of him, squirming in his grasp but when he was abruptly let go, he huffed and barely had time to brush himself off. Instead he backed away from the fast approach of Kastiel, kind of bumping into Basi so that he was completely cornered. When Kas grabbed onto his wrist, he did the smart thing and didn't struggle. As he was about to come to his own defense, he was paused when Wess burst in. His eyes sharpened in anger as he watched Kastiel draw close to the cat boy. Did he hate him for touching him? Yes, Sid didn't like the feline hybrid right now but at the same time, he wasn't really in the mood to see his brother prey on the kid. "He's not my boyfriend, just a guy I met in the hallway," he growled, stepping away from Basi so he couldn't be so easily cornered again. He faced his older brother, jaw clenched. "Let him go, Kas," he muttered, flipping his hair out of his eyes once more. Turning to Wess he snarled, "Get out of here, idiot!" Sid didn't want this to go down the wrong why, like it appeared to be. Not in his first week of school. However, before he could yell again, a small hand wrapped around the wrist of Wess. The girl from the picture stood there, eyes averted but tugging at the arm of her brother. "Come on Wess," she begged quietly, her tail flicking out of nervousness. She continued to attempt to pull her brother away from the Thantos siblings, concerned for his safety. Yes, Giselle wasn't always the one who needed protection.
Xav almost thought he would continue to go unnoticed, not that that really bothered him all too much. He settled back in his chair, just watching her paint. It was interesting to him to say the least. When he finally did gain her attention, he raised one eyebrow. A small smirk curled in the corner of his mouth, not that one could see it. "Not really," he told her, his voice void of the amusement he was truly feeling. So this was the Queen Bitch in her natural habitat. She looked sort of at peace here, kind of like how he felt when he was in gym, or at least he assumed it was a similar feeling. Slowly his hands wrapped around a piece of clay and he began to shape it softly with his hands, enjoying having something to do. You see, Xav had a nervous habit of fiddling with his hands, which honestly made him a better thief. He had rather sticky fingers.
Karzen relaxed as he saw the look of happiness in his eyes. He enjoyed making others happy, particularly Stein who he knew instinctively had suffered very much. Though, the twitch of his wings captured his attention. "Oh, I'm alright, just stayed up late studying last night," he admitted, placing his head in his hand. "This course is gonna kick my butt," he continued, chuckling. That was the truth, if a bit altered. He didn't want Stein to worry about him, after all, he'd been handling his parents all his life. So they basically abandoned him and submerged themselves in hunting. Who cares if they forgot his birthday every year and paid more attentions to their prey than to him? Definitely not Karzen... "So, you ready for this class? Mr. Parker is such a hard-head," he continued to talk to Stein, for it was rather therapeutic.
"I would love to! Usually no one really wants me to sit by them, they all run away," he spoke, his voice taken on a sullen tone near the end. He didn't really understand why no one enjoyed his company. He never hurt anyone, unless they provoked him, most of them he'd never even spoken to before. Achilles kicked at the tiled floor under his feet, trying to ignore the sense of unease he felt all of a sudden. What if, after hearing that, she didn't want to sit beside him any more? That would be the normal response right? Yet, for some reason, she didn't seem purely normal to him. For one, she was blind and two, she seemed to be really kind. For a boy who'd always longed for a friend, he knew he had found one and hoped he didn't manage to scare her away.

Wess's fire dwindled a little as he took in all the people around him, so close. Too close. His hand twitched as everything inside of him screamed at him to take out his tablet and escape into the web. The boy was caught off guard and that irritated him. Suddenly the largest of the group was pacing around him, drawing closer with every step. Wess hissed. Fucking hissed at the man, shooting daggers through his eyes before stopping completely. The little neko boy went stiff under Kas's hands, fighting desperately to keep a moan from escaping his mouth. Suddenly Kas hit that spot with his fingers and Wess all but transformed into jelly under his soft kneading. He couldn't stop the moan then, sounding almost as if it came from the depths of nether and out of his small body. His eyes rolled back into his head and he purred. He fucking purred. Somewhere in his head, Wess was berating himself about the purr. He yelped in surprise as hands closed around his tail and he whipped his head around, too fast. Kas's hands had still been kneading his ears and when he turned, he caused the eldest Thantos to yank his ears and damn that was painful. All too soon there were too many bodies. Too many people. So many people, so close. There was nothing he could do. There was red and green and blue and black, then somewhere in the haze there was brown. A very familiar color. A familiar voice telling him to move. Familiar hands tugging him, but unfamiliar hands tugging him the opposite way. He was trapped, the rope in a game of tug of war. He turned to the unfamiliar hands, the hands on his tail, and there was that red again. He blinked, trying to see past the color to the face behind it, and winced at what he saw. There was a troubling smile on that Thantos's face. The smile of a dog that wanted to play not-too-kindly with the cat. Wess's eyes were searching again, looking for the youngest Thantos to somehow save him from the pack of dogs that wanted to rip him apart and roll around in the pieces.

Kastiel's eyes lit up when he heard the boy squeal, that alone was enough to perk his interests and spread a grin to his face, but then his attention flickered to the girl tugging him away from the situation. Oh, he couldhave pulled her in, make things worse, but... Something about her made him pause, he had a strange feeling like this wouldn't be the last time they'd meet. Kas leaned against the locker, keeping his eyes locked with the girls, remarking to himself what a beautiful shade of yellow they were. Little fangs poked out of grin, he'd have to test this whole ear sensitivity thing on her too... "Go on Sid." Kastiel said dismissively, slapping him on the shoulder and taking a step back from the group. "You have class, if I hear of you skipping again you're gonna be rotten meat." He sent a glare at the rebellious teen, eyes like daggers. And don't be fooling around with that kid either. His eyes seemed to say, but he, he remained silent. "And as for you, mi Minette." Kastiel said, eyes lighting as he looked at Giselle. He swept over to her, weaving around her for a moment and brushing against her back side. "I have a feeling I'll be seeing you later..." And with that, Kas dismissed himself, walking down the hall with his hands in his pockets.
Coraline gave a snort, turning back to her painting, hesitant about starting up again. She didn't like to work when she knew someone was watching her... "Then can you pleasantly fuck off?" She said crossly, it was always easier to put up a wall of hostility than friendliness. Besides, people couldn't hurt you as much when you were already mean to them, and if you pretended not to care. Unfortunately, this rude out-put made it hard to make friends, not that Coraline cared. She didn't suck-up to anybody. "I don't have time for criminals." If she had to be rude to be on her own again then so be it; that's how she saw things.

Stein rolled his eyes, as if to say that there was no way he believed Karzen would fail. Poor kid truly looked up to him. To Stein, Karzen could do no wrong. And that assumption was based on facts. As long as he had known the other boy, he had not seen Karzen fail at anything. The little mutant all but groaned and slammed his head to the desk, portrayed just how excited he was for it. He could probably pass with a low grade... As long as Parker didn't include participation in the overall grade. He shuddered at the thought.
"Why not?" She asked without thinking, sitting up and tilting her head. She smiled, "Well, unless you bring your horrible coffee to class." She joked lightheartedly. She frowned a little, trying to think of a good reason why someone would run from the man before her. She couldn't think of any and that really irked her, her scowl deepening.

Sid stared at the cat boy when he started purring, feeling the urge to shove Kastiel away. Wess must have had a death wish or something, why else would he give into his brother? Nothing good ever came out of Kas' attention, he'd learned that from a young age. However, he relaxed a bit when his older brother's attention shifted to the girl, as if that was seriously any better. About to speak again, he was hushed by his brother turning his head at him and dismissing him. Did he just fucking dismiss him? Glaring at his brother, he read the gaze perfectly. Suddenly, a grin pressed into his face, his eyebrows raising slightly. Watch me. His look said. "See you around, kitty," he said to Wess, though mostly just to show his defiance off to Kas. Politely sticking his middle finger up at his brother in farewell, he moved past the triplets and escaped into the Art Building, heading to his Animation class.
Giselle continued to tug at her dazed brother until she had him leaning on her shoulder, still a little out of it obviously. She honestly had to resist the urge to roll her eyes at his behavior. Sure, ears being pet was a very affectionate, personal thing to her kind, something that made them relax. It felt amazing, she knew because Wess would do it whenever she was upset or sick. So yes, she understood to some degree but really, could he be more helpless in a moment she kind of needed his support? Her attention snapped to the oldest Thantos, watching as he moved ever closer. She had to admit, she was a little impressed by his French. There was something definitely dangerous about the older one, but something dark that sadly enticed her. When he brushed against her, a shiver made it's way down her spine. At his words, she opened her mouth to respond but paused to see that all four of the remaining Thantos clan had disappeared. "C-Come on, Wess... we're both done with classes, let's go get something to eat," she told her brother, pulling out a smile for him, even though that confrontation had left her a little shaky. There was something about the oldest one... that made her heart flutter. Dangerous, she reminded herself.
( i'll respond to the rest in a second, i'm hitting a writing block here. -groans- )

Basiel reluctantly let go of Wess's tail and crossed his arms, looking like his brother had stolen his ice cream cone. Or his new favorite toy. Either way he retreated and moved behind his siblings, poking Zazri in the side. He watched Sid and shook his head, feeling almost sad for the kid. He was sure in for it.
Wess's ears flattened against his head and he buried his head in his sister's shoulder, leaning into her to get his bearing back, "Ok... But did you see him? His nubby horns are adorable." He mumbled, not realizing that the guy in question could still hear him, and lifted his head as he heard Sid speaking again. He smiled, still doped up with the endorphins from his earjob. He tugged on Giselle's shirt and whispered, not too quietly, "He called me kitty~" Damn, he was still purring, "I think he likes me~" He smiled again, his eyes half lidded before moving away from her and starting down the walkway, stumbling as if drunk.
