Karzen laughed, good-natured as always. Plus he found Stein's obvious impending doom rather silly. "Oh please, I wont let you fail! We're going to study hard okay? We'll meet up every day after classes at the gym and then head over to the little place in the park that we have, sound good?" he asked, smiling brightly. Stein had to be his favorite person in the whole world, he was genuine and he really enjoyed his lovely heart that he had buried underneath those scars and stitches. (oi, don't know what else to put 'ere)
Achilles smiled briefly before it fell again. "I don't know. They all run away from me," he muttered quietly. He didn't want to admit that he got into lots of fights, because he was afraid of scaring her off too. Fear tightened in his chest briefly before he took another sip of his coffee and tried to relax. (sorry they will get longer, I swear!)
Giselle didn't miss the smirk Sid had as he walked away. She rolled her eyes as she watched her brother stumble away from her, amusement causing her own purr to rumble in her chest. "Wess, come back here," she called, rather playfully as she ran towards him and latched onto his back lightly, careful not to further knock him off balance. "The diner is this way," she reminded him, still feeling a little off from the encounter. 'My kitten'. He'd called her his kitten. Just the though sent an abundance of shivers slide down her spine. That oldest Thantos brother was something else. "Wess," she tugged at him again, waiting a moment for him to come down from his high. (you know what I just realized, Wess' ears aren't even particularly sensitive, while Giselle's are.... oh god, I'm afraid to see what happens when someone pets her ears.. cx)
"Criminal, huh?" Xav asked with a small smirk, again, not that anyone could tell. He placed a hand on his chin and leaned forward ever so slightly, as if he was fascinated when really, he was just trying to piss her off. "I like my spot though," he chuckled lightly, head tilted to one side. His turquoise eyes sparkled at her, bright against his tanned complexion. His swords rested across his back, a comforting weight. He never went anywhere without them. His other hand continued to fiddle with the small piece of clay.
( these are all so short cuz i'm eating but I promise they are going to get longer!)

Stein turned his head to look up at Karzen, relief sparkling through his eyes and he nodded before picking his head up. He shook his purple hair out of his eyes before pulling out a notebook and a piece of paper. If they were going to study together, Stein was not going to slack off. He would copy all notes and try his best during class time so he wouldn't be too hopeless for Karzen to help.
Bella tilted her head the opposite way before reaching her hand across the table, waiting for him to put his hand in her open one -- well, if he wanted to, "You can't be that bad, Achilles." She said softly, "I mean, I invaded your privacy over here and you didn't make me move." She shrugged as if that proved anything.
Wess shook his head, trying to clear the fogginess of his mind. When he was calm enough to understand what just happened, he let out an almost painful squeak and covered his face with his scarf before Giselle could see his face flush, violently ignoring the fact that it smelled like Sid, "Let's go to the damn diner." He mumbled, his tail continuing to curl a little, "And for the record you saw and heard nothing that happened these past ten minutes." He shot his sister a look.
{{ Shhh theyre fine !! }}

( skip till after their boring class? )
"Why would I?" he questioned thoroughly confused. Was it not polite to let another person sit across from you? And he was so desperate for companionship, he wouldn't have even dreamed of turning her away. Achilles carefully looked at her blue hair and delicate face before placing his hand trustingly in hers. Her little hand felt so warm and perfect in his. Was this friendship? He sure hoped so. The thought made his mega watt smile return and he spoke up again, "You're very kind." He meant every word too. She put up with him and that made Achilles all comforted on the inside. Finally, he knew he wasn't destined to be alone forever!
"Sure I didn't.... Kitty," Giselle teased before bumping her shoulder against his affectionately. Clasping his hand, she pulled him forward, relaxing as the cold autumn air reddened her cheeks. Her light gray and white stripped scarf was tucked around her neck, her light blue sweater falling over the palms of her hands but leaving her little fingers to get iced. She was wearing a pair of dark gray skinny jeans and of course, her favorite pair of lace up black combat boots. (I'm just copying a friend's style, have no idea if this looks okay or not .) "Did you enjoy yourself today, Wessie?" she questioned, still teasing her big brother. Yes, I said big brother. Giselle was 18 and should be graduating high school this year but she is quite the little smarty. Which is why she was in the same year as her brother, a young college student but a successful one. Secretly she hoped her brother had forgotten about what the oldest Thantos had said to her, Giselle wasn't looking forward to a scolding. (you promised me an older brother melt down... cx oh and if wess wants a nick name for her, I figure Ellie would be cute -shrugs-)

{{ Sounds good to me :3 }}
"Well, most people don't take too kindly to some random blind girl taking over their booth," She chuckled and gave his hand a gentle squeeze, "As are you." She smiled, one that reflected his. He really is nice, she thought fondly, giving his hand another squeeze. She was quiet for a few moments before blurting out her thoughts, "I'm sorry, I'm not to forward am I? I always feel like I intrude and just push too hard, and I'd really rather not push you away. I mean... Wow... I sound.. Wow... I should probably stop talking." She shook her head, her face burning, "Just forget I said anything." She said quietly and started to pull her hand back.
"Ouais, vous avez vous êtes blagues, pas vous, chaton?" He bumped her back, smiling a little despite everything. He reached into his bag and pulled out a pair of gloves, handing them to her, "You need to wear these." He said, almost impatiently. Gosh, do people not attempt to wear appropriate clothing according to the weather? He tugged the scarf off of his face and looked at her, narrowing his eyes, "Ellie. I was made a fool of and man-handled by a lot of people. My ears were touched and someone grabbed my tail. I was humiliated and forced to say thing I otherwise wouldn't have said. No, I did not enjoy myself today. And neither did you." He grumped, giving her hand a gentle squeeze, "I don't you around them, Ellie, they're a barbaric bunch. Haven't you heard the stories of the Thantos Clan?"
{{ Oh shush! I was waiting for the right time XD also this isn't a real big brother melt down X3 also i dont know french so this is what i was trying to say the first sentence "Yeah, you have you're jokes, don't you, kitten?" }}

Coraline tapped her foot impatiently, fingers drumming on the counter that separated the two of them. "Alllright then." She sighed, reaching up and untying the band that kept her hair back. Tar black waves cascaded down her shoulders, running down to the small of her back and folding over her ears once more. She sent him a little glare through her purple eyes, leaning over the counter closer to him - this interrogating would be fun. "Since you seem fit to make yourself a guest, we should introduce ourselves. Name's Coraline, who are you?" Without even realizing it she also went out and grabbed a spare hunk of clay, molding it boredly between her fingers as she looked at him, examined him closely. She had to admit, the boy was rather handsome. His eyes were such a redeeming feature, placed above his handkerchief that hid his mouth and tucked in his tan complexion. She felt rather perplexed, who was this guy anyway. There was always more than the stories you heard, Coraline knew that.
Kastiel's feet kicked back and fourth lazily, the nearly setting sun shed it's bleeding light over the rooftops of the campus and dived into the fabric of Kas's black clothes. A tiny smile was on his face as he looked over Winterdale, down on the people that scuttled form building to building, or those reciting from the main gates, the trees that dotted the grass and the melancholic ring of the chapel bell. The wing tugged at his hair sweeping it behind him and out of his eyes so he could get a better view of what was below. Was that his little kitten? He placed his elbows upon his knees, leaning down so he could see; yep, that was her long orange hair. He grinned, eyes taking a darker shade as he watched her walk along with what was seemingly her brother.

When she began to withdraw her hand however, Achilles only gave it a soft squeeze. "Hey, don't be embarrassed. You're perfectly fine, we are friends now after all!" he exclaimed brightly, trying to show his grin through his words. He didn't want her to feel uncomfortable around him and that was when he realized this whole time she hadn't ordered anything. "Oh, wow, I'm rude, I can by you a coffee - not black like mine or a pastry?" he quickly asked, trying to make up for not noticing sooner. To be honest, Achilles felt very bad. His mother had always taught him to treat girls with the upmost respect, they are what makes the world go 'round - or so she would have said. She had always been goofy that way, yet he always remembered her as a strong person.

There were shocked gasps and whispers everywhere. A Thantos kid had shown up to try out for a sports team. Something actually related to the school. Sidriel always was athletic and enjoyed being on his feet, so he figured sports was the perfect way to rebel further against Kastiel, You see, Kas had forbidden the whole family from any school activity, even cram sessions. Take this fuckass, Sid grinned triumphantly as he moved towards the center of the baseball diamond where other boys were sitting and waiting for the coach to speak. He was already on the soccer team and the cross country team, next was the baseball team and then possibly swim team if he didn't make it, not that he wouldn't. Settling down in the red dirt, he sat apart from the other college freshmen, his head tilted to one side. This was going to be a lot of fun. Yet, he felt distracted with thoughts of that stupid cat-boy. His eyes darkened a bit and his smile grew slightly predatory. Wess, huh? A low snicker escaped his lips.

Xav deeply enjoyed the purple hue of her eyes darkening even further in her anger. He watched her movements carefully, with the eyes of a watchful, albeit amused, man. She seemed so different from her sister Meadow, who he couldn't ever stand. When she asked for introductions, he was a little surprised, seeing as most people didn't want his name or really to know anything but gossip about him. Not taking the askance as anything but annoyed curiosity, the boy leaned back a bit in his chair. "I'm Xav," he finally responded, chin tilted up ever so slightly, as if daring her to run away screaming due to the bad record that came with his name. Yet, natural instinct also told him that she wasn't the type to runaway screaming from anything. (sorry he's so hard to rp with, his personality isn't very socially friendly...cx)
Giselle was currently out on an assignment from one of her teachers. Apparently some low-blood demon was causing quite the little ruckus in the only nearby village. So that was why she had traveled all those miles on a school night. To go demon hunting. A low groan left her lips as she pulled herself onto the roof. Her golden yellow eyes scanned the area around her. She was dressed in something rather unusual for her, but normal hunter's gear. A pitch black hoodie, that covered her ears and hit her long hair, and a pair of black skinny jeans with her favorite combat boots. Her quiver was strapped to her back, but her bow was clasped in one hand. Her face was thrown in shadow, but her expression was rather grim. Killing was not her favorite thing to do, even if with her heightened agility and senses, she was excellent at her future job. Moving to the edge, she scanned faces, pausing on one that had a crazy look in her eye. Oh great, a female demon. Those creatures were vile. (Kas could have been doing god knows what in the village and happens to catch her on duty)

The young cat-boy was once more walking around with his tablet once more near his face. He was forced out of Giselle's room, his sister claiming that he needed "exercise" and that he needed to "get out more." As if. He was out all the time! Wait, no, he was almost constantly stashed away in either his or Giselle's room when not in class. His tail gave a single lash in irritation as he climbed the stadium near the baseball field. He grinned to himself, his fingers flying over his tablet, as he sat down. He was out and about, but he could be alone and secluded. His eyes narrowed a bit as he pulled himself further into his corner of the stands. Wess tucked his ears down against his head so that he didn't have to listen to the boys on the field, his tail hanging down and twitching at the tip.

((Oh my gosh I am already in love with Xav and COraline... <3 Xav just elans back like "What gurl, you gun run, yeah I'm bad." XD OHHH!!! <3 I just had a cute idea!!! <3 Momo, do you think we could work it out where in a bit Coraline teaches Xav how to paint and like they have a sort of cutsy moment because she grabs his wrist and presses his hand to the canvas so it has his hand mark it would be so cutteee! <3 <3 <3))
"Ppttpphh." She covered her mouth with her hand to hide her laughter as he leaned back, as if she should be impressed. Her eyes stayed with his, amusement making the purple hue glitter in the light. "Oh man, I'm scared." She gave a playful eye roll, shaping the clay in her hands that she just now noticed was there. She glanced down and began to mold it into a figure. "Oh shit, watch out it's Xav he might steal your cigarettes." Her tone was surprisingly light, making it rather easy to tell she wasn't actually meaning to be mean, not right now anyway. It was easy to piss Coraline off, but right now she was just amused by this clever character. Maybe it was because he enticed her... She wanted to know more about him. "So tell me criminal, what's the worst thing you've ever done?" She gave the figure of clay legs and arms, then began to work on the head.
Kas liked to know about the surrounding village, he was almost like a bat that watched over the town. He was particularly interested in a family that was adjacent to a stop light. The family had a small lawn filled with dead grass, boarded up windows, and lots of holes in their door. Kastiel would watch this family closely, peeking in through the dark and observing the husband, the wife, the son and daughter, and the family house cat. The son would beat the cat, the daughter would cut, the wife was addicted to drugs, the husband slept with other women and drank. The only way they were still standing was because the wife would whore herself, even the daughter had to be involved in some cases. Kastiel liked this family, it was like watching the ball drop at new year, you count down the time in anticipation, waiting for the ball to finally reach the end of its string, and for a new year of turmoil to brew. In this case, Kastiel was simply waiting for their inevitable downfall. He was in the village when Giselle was searching for her demon, Kastiel was on the roof of his favorite family at the time. It just so happened that the demon girl lived not too far, in a realm just as dastardly as the family below him. His eyes flicked up as he watched a shadow move from roof top to roof top, at first he didn't recognize her, no ears, no tail, but he caught a lock of her orange-caramel hair and his eyes lit up. With one firm hand he gripped the back of his scythe, then pushed up and began to tread after her, far behind in her shadow, not making a sound as he tip-toed across the roof tops.

It took longer than necessary for Sid to notice the onlooker. In fact, he didn't realize Wess was in the bleachers till a couple of boys began whispering about him. The neko who never got off his electronics. Instantly, he knew it was his cat-boy they were talking about. Having shown off for a few drills, he decided to take a break and stealthily crawled up the bleachers to stand next to him peering down with his bi colored eyes. "Hey, kitty," he cooed, one side of his mouthed curved into a twisted little smirk of satisfaction. Now to be honest, Sid wasn't very experienced in interacting with people outside of his family, but he was trained in the ways of "over-confident dick" thanks to his brother Zazri. Yeah, youngest Thantos has a dirty mouth and a dirty mind too, but he didn't touch anyone and didn't like being touched so Kas could relax on that front. Sid saw himself as the only Thantos Clan that would always have some purity. Yes, in the demon realm he would be forever known as their little virgin brother. How lovely. (xD)
( I really like them too! <3 That would be adorable, it MUST happen! Xav wouldn't know what to do for once in his life! )
His aquamarine eyes crinkled at the very edges, only slightly, but enough to show he was grinning beneath his mask. "I'm the infamous cigarette bandit," he confirmed, only giving her more ammunition against him but not minding. He could get upset at her teasing, blow a fuse and yell at her for trying to wound his ego. However, Xav liked to have control of himself, body and soul and was known to take some humility, now and then. Her eyes seemed to sparkle now that she was in a slightly better mood and that attracted him almost as much as her annoyed glower. Coraline was known to be Queen Bitch but honestly, right now, she was offering him some entertainment and he found he didn't really mind her attitude. In fact, it charmed him a bit. At her question, he put a leather clad hand up to his chin, his bare fingers quirking against his chin. "Hmm, I killed some women in Sicily one time. They owed money," he told her, unafraid of her judgment or her going to authorities. Why should he be when they had also been demons? It was his job, or it would be after graduation. It was still the most brutal thing he'd done, after all, it'd been his first kill and there had been a scared little kid there. Yeah, those horrified lime green eyes would haunt him forever.
Giselle was too focused to really notice her shadow, more intent on the target. Her ears perked as she listened to the female demon's conversation over the phone. It was disgusting to say the very least. Sliding down to her knees fluidly, she waited until the woman walked down the neighboring alley, away from innocents. Notching in arrow, she seemed to freeze up a bit, pulling her hand back to her cheek. Releasing a deep breath, she let go of the arrow, watching it land in the shoulder of her target. The female demon dropped her phone and squealed, hands clawing at the poisonous point embedded in her flesh. Giselle leaped down, landing in a sort of crouch, her hand already on her dagger as she faced the demon. Furious bloody red-black eyes glared back at her as the squeal turned into a hiss. Giselle pulled out her dagger, trying to remain calm, without showing her irritation. The female demon lunged, clawed fingers extending to catch on the hunter's flesh. However, Giselle managed to dodge and swooped in close to land a heavy kick on the creature's stomach. Hissing louder, the demon woman lashed out and managed to catch Giselle by her hip and had her staggering back towards the wall of the alley. Her hood had fallen with the blow and now her cat ears were visible, which made her uncomfortable. Her ears were a weak point and she had let them be seen. Now was not the time for fist fights, Giselle had to end this before she got herself in a real bad situation. The demon woman cackled before swinging a fist at the huntress, who got a dizzying blow to the ear. Normally she wasn't so slow. Cursing herself, she ducked to the side and dug her blade into the woman's side. A scream escaped her target and she backed away a few steps to see what still needed to be done. The blade through he heart should be efficient in ending this brawl. "You hunter bitch! Raised by a whore!" the demon snarled, spittle spraying over everything, just not Giselle. Now, now that the neko had a plan, she was graceful, moving with the lightness of a dancer as she weaved closer to the victim. "My brother isn't a whore, in fact, I'm pretty sure he's afraid of intimacy," she replied dryly, a small smile forced upon her lips. Then she plunged the silver into the demon's heart. Spasms later, the beast had died. Rubbing her sore hip, Giselle leaned back against the wall for a moment, trying not to hiss at the tenderness. "Well fuck, didn't mean for her to land any blows," she murmured to herself, her tail unwrapping from around her waist to sway behind her in annoyance.

Coraline's eyes widened at what Xav said, for a moment she nearly dropped her clay figure - but then she quickly remembered it was normal for certain students to kill others, just as long as they were demons. Coraline herself was not in that part of the school, therefor she was not in the demon fighting dorm, but in the regular dormitory. She didn't interact a lot with those kind of students, they always seemed so busy, with most of their classes being battle training and demonology; meanwhile she just spent all her time in the art room. "Demons?" She asked, looking up from her model. "I guess everyone has it coming for them sometime..." She said in a tone that detected no particular emotion. Realizing that was no place to end a conversation, Coraline added along, a bit of amusement in her voice now. "Hell, the worst I ever did was beat the shit out of a kid in second grade with some toys - compared to you I look like a saint." A smile hugged one cheek as she remembered the memory, the boy had made her angry. He had pulled her hair, threw paper at her, but she could stand all that - what she couldn't stand was when he called her a weakling. Needless to say, after the black eye she left the kid with, his insults stopped immediately. That night was the first night her dad had talked to her in almost a week - even if he was yelling at her, at least he noticed she existed...
Kastiel watched with a growing fascination. The mad gleam in the demons eye was macabre, but even in that sort of state nothing threw the little cat-girl off. Her battle moves were brilliant, balanced feet, quick hands and wits. His admiration only grew stronger. He had the strong urge to fight her himself, but he suppressed it. When the battle was over Kastiel slowly began to clap. He stood at the top of a balcony, balancing on the railing with the moon hanging behind him, illuminating him in a very undeserved halo. "Mi Minette, I had no idea you were such a skilled killer." He gave a low cackle before dropping down to the pavement that enclosed the two of them. In the darkness cast by the surrounding buildings, Kastiel looked more shadow than man. "Please accept my praise," he started, giving a little bow, hand folded formally over his chest. "never before have I witnessed slaughter a monster with such skills." He straightened once more, grinning at her startled expression upon his arrival.

Wess was having a lot of fun, beating beta games and writing the creator with tips on how to make the games better. His ears perked when he noticed a shadow falling over him and he growled in annoyance, attempting to finish the newest game he could find. When the shadow spoke, Wess jumped so hard he almost threw his tablet down the bleachers. He hissed and clutched the piece of equipment to his chest as he looked up to glare at the youngest Thantos, "Go away." He grumbled, intending to stare Sidriel down, but faltering after a few moments and dropping his gaze to the wood at his feet. Wess's tail curled a little behind him, knowing very well that Sidriel was only ficking with him because of what he said when he was high off those damn endorphins. His ears drooped a little, anticipating more from Sidriel.
